Growing a Business: One Contact At A Time – Episode 4 – Creating Your Own Luck – Part 1

Are you utilizing your time most effectively? Are you creating follow up for yourself that will benefit you in the long run? When you were networking, it is vitally important that you sent an appointment to follow up. In this episode, Caleb Taylor sits down with business coach Clay Clark to identify the most important parts of the networking process. In this episode, Clay discusses the importance of setting an appointment and why that can mean huge profits for your business. The fruit is in the follow-up. Anybody can attend a networking event and shake hands and collect business cards. However, the most successful business owners and entrepreneurs that attend will collect those business cards, and then to a list, and follow up with a handwritten note to have the biggest impact. Remember, you must be the most remarkable person at the networking event. Furthermore, you must be consistent with your follow-up. If you’re not consistent, you will not build confidence in the people that you meet. We have confidence in the companies and people that diligently and consistently do the same things over and over and over again. If you’re going to set an appointment, it is hugely important that you are prompt and punctual for that appointment. If you set an appointment for 4 PM, means that you should be available for that appointment at 3:45 PM. Being late is not an option. The only thing that matters is being on time and getting the job completed. When you do this, you will find that you are going to have more deep relationships in your life. This extends beyond just business. You should do the same thing for the other parts of your F6 goals. Make sure that you check out the rest of the videos by business coach Clay Clark as he discusses the importance and value of networking the right way. If you do not do the networking within the principles that Clay Clark is teaching, then you will find that networking is one of the largest wastes of time in your business.
