This is a vital part of the networking process, because this sets you apart from all of the other superficial relationships that they will have had during that networking event. The goal is to have a few meaningful relationships from this networking event that you want to follow up with. The goal is not quantity. In fact, and not everybody has a right to speak into your life. You must consider the source. Are you allowing the people that can create value for your business to speak into your life? You must guard your time and sources of information with the utmost importance. When you do this, you will find that you’re surrounding yourself with more positive influences in your life. The average value of your network is your net worth. Do not take networking lightly. When you network properly it can be very effective for your business.
