15 Steps to Becoming a Successful and Proactive Person: Mr. Clark’s Opus – 6. How To Manage Email Everyday – Part 1

As Sharita Bent sits down with business coach Clay Clark, they discuss how to manage email every day along with other important steps to becoming successful and proactive. It is important that you remember no matter where you are at it is important that you have and keep the schedule. Especially whenever it comes to business it is important to remember there are always things you need to get done, and you do not have time to let idleness creep in. Make sure that you block out that time, at least monthly, to address your goals for your faith, your fitness, your family goals, and your finances, and friendships. As we continue in on our discussion step thirteen is to determine a start time and end time to everyday. Deciding your day when you are going to bed, and when you are going to wake up. The real goal is not having unlimited money, it is having time freedom. Money is one way to achieve that time freedom, but the beginning is to decide what you will do with your time. Do not feel obligated to do things just because others do it. We also discussed step 14 which is learning how to process the email and notifications you receive. When he set a specific time when you will check and reply to your emails you are keeping people from having permission to affect your life and your mood whenever they choose. Do not give others the power to interest and potentially ruin your day by responding to every phone call, email, and text message you receive right away. And business coach step number 15 that we will discuss next is learning not to feel bad because you’re happier than others. It is all too common that we so bad when we are happy, and so we feel it is our responsibility to make others happy as well. Continue watching for the conclusion of these 15 reps to being both proactive and successful.
