Lee mentions that his wife gave him the advice of being careful what you say and do today because they are watching you and they are judging you and if you want to be a good leader, be careful of what you say because they are getting their lead from you and your reputation is on the line every day. You have many reputations and those reputations go beyond the people you come in contact with because your employees will talk about you to other employees. Be careful what you say and do in front of your children because their brains pick up everything. Be careful of what you put on social media, what you record on your phone, and what you are saying to certain people. Don’t underestimate the influence that you bring regardless of your position or role.
