Over Delivering: The Selfish Act Of Standing Out By Doing More – Episode 2 – Part 1

Today business coach Clay Clark is going to talk about more of the details that are involved with the selfless act of standing out by doing more the overall concept of this series has been over delivery. What it means overdeliver is to bring more value than you are expected to to every job or task that it is you have in front of you. What it really means is you just go the extra mile to make sure that the job or task was done with excellence and at the customer was satisfied and does not have anything else that they need from the company. We have a saying on the walls of the drive office that goes as follows “overdeliver and you will soon be overpaid”. The active overdelivering is a selfish act because the end result is that the person you over delivered for now sees more value than they originally did in you. You can see how this concept works on employee level but it also works on a Business owner level. You can create more value over a lifetime where a customer comes back to you and passes that legacy onto their kids and their kids if you continually overdeliver every time they interact with your branding your business then you can buy having someone use your product or service three times and only delivering what is expected.
