Then she would disappear with your money, and you are left without a book. See, no one really cares more about your book other than you. You are the one who wrote it anyways. As a thriver you may be thinking self publishing may be the wrong path for you. However, when you self publish you have the great advantage of printing your books on demand when you need them. So you do not have to deal with a large surplus of paper in your grandmas garage. With self publishing you do not have to buy a large quantity to get started. You only buy the books you need printed and you are done. At the end, when you print your books and sell them, that is where the money is at. Some entrepreneurs put their experience in a book and sell it for about thirty dollars a copy. The overhead is about four dollars a copy. Now think about it would you give someone four dollars and in-return get back twenty six dollars. I would say so.
