The Importance of Work Ethic, Punctuality, and Responsiveness. – Episode 1 – Beating the Clock: Importance of Being on Time – Part 2

When the word punctuality comes to mind what is your first thought? This is a topic that is not readily talked about because we all know it is better to be on time. The word punctual is defined as “the fact or quality of being on time”. In this episode business coach and Thrive visioneer Clark Clark is joined by Johnny G. fitness visionary, inventor, and entrepreneur. Together they talk about the importance of being on time and how it affects your relationship with an individual. Let’s say you are going to hire someone new for your business and you set a time to meet – and of course, they are late. What impressions did they leave you with? Now turn the table. When have you been late to something? Do you think that person respects you just as much as before your meeting? Johnny G. talks about one of his favorite words “Fastidious” which means “Very careful about how something is done; extremely particular.” So when you go to meet with someone remembers what you need to do to strengthen that business relationship. Johnny G talks about helping you increase your work ethic and punctuality by going over the concept of time. Take time out of your day to take time to be early for an event. When you get there you will be early. In result, you will have more time to go over your materials, to be sure you are fully prepared for what you need to do. Take some time to fully watch this episode where Johnny G. lays out the power of beating the clock. Remember, the timer will never stop. When you decide to steer away from a project, you are robbing yourself of that time you could have used to be more prepared. The clock is ticking… press play.
