Managing Time: Maximizing Every Minute Of Your Day – Episode 1 – Part 2
Today’s topic of managing time and maximizing every minute of your day with episode one part two posted by business coach Clay Clark. In this episode Clay Clark is in a breakdown the importance of having a to do list. It is so important to have a single to do list for your single life. You have one business and one Life therefore you should have one to do list that all of the tasks that you need to do go on that list for you to accomplish throughout your day and week. On list list should be every single thing that you need to get done for your business and your life. You need to have your team members tasks list on here. They need to have access to this list and know that they have things on there. With every to do list item that goes on the list needs to be meeting the following criteria. First it has to be signed to a specific person. If you assign it to a vague group of people the ball is dropped everyone will assume that someone else is going to do it. Second it must be detailed item. I Cannot just say call Ted. I need to say Call Ted and discuss and discuss the next steps we need to take to get the group insurance policy set up. Ted’s number is. The last thing that every to do list item must-have is a specific due date. Do not let these things drift and never get done. If you do not assign a specific due date the item will not get done in the next thing you know little before lunch down the road and this thing never got finished because nobody ever followed up on it. So to follow-up every to do list item needs to be assigned to specific person you know who’s responsible for it. Is that a detailed action item with all of the information I need to get the item done. And lastly needs to be time specific and have a due date and the person must know what that due date is name is know the repercussions for not getting the job done by the due date. If you need help learning how to success is my best been set up a business coach assessment with one of the Thrive business coach associates to go over the 13 point system that we walked there with our business coach clients.
