Are you making the right decisions for your life? Are you scheduling time for the appropriate tasks in your life? In this episode, business coach Clay Clark breaks down work life balance question that every business owner and entrepreneur faces. One of the hardest things to do is create boundaries for family and work. As a Business owner with five kids, Clay Clark often times will have to create boundaries for himself because working is more like vacation for him. There is no struggle with simply grinding for hours at a time. If you want to be successful in your business, you must also schedule time for other areas of your life as well. Simply devoting all of your time available to just growing your business will cause you to lose hey Quality of lifestyle in the other areas of your life. This means making sacrifices. If you were going to make a trade-off, that means reducing your expectation or amount of time that you were spending in a particular Area of your life. This means that in order to achieve financial stability, you must make a trade-off to not go out one night per week in order to review finances every week. This is not a popular thing to do. Your other friends that do not understand this concept will want you to come out with them, or other distractions will get in the way. The Magic of having scheduled something allows you to say no to more things that begin to encroach upon the time that you have set up for that particular area of your life. Being able to say no is one of the biggest confidence builders in business. While it may create fear and doubt, and it includes a change of behavior, this is one of the habits that all of the most successful people in the world possessed. You will never be able to be everywhere at once, so block out time to prioritize the important aspects of your life and when they occur.
