12 Life Lessons Every Human Should Know – Episode 2 – Part 1

As we sit down with business coach Clay Clark and Sean Kouplen in our discussion of the 12 life lessons every human should know we come to life lesson number four; when choosing a career, run to your strengths. We all have things that we know we are good at like Clay is a business coach, and other things we know we’re not very good at. So we discussed here why it is so important for you to do focus on the strengths that you do have. It is also important that you are able to find those you can partner up with who will complement your strengths and weaknesses. As it is often common for people not to have a clear vision or focus Sean Kouplen really focuses on helping people realize and their own vision. Make sure that you’re in a career where you can spend most of your time doing the things you are good at and enjoy. Now it is important to realize we usually have to start out in the company at a position we don’t particularly enjoy. But, if you will work hard and stick to it eventually your hard work will be recognized and you will be promoted up to positions that more suit what you are desiring to do. As Benjamin Franklin said, “diligence is the mother of good luck”, and that is the same with us today. If you will be diligent and develop a reputation of integrity on hard work you will begin to be promoted and can create that dream job you have always wanted. Also found in this episode we introduce you to life lesson number five which is to find a mentor who has reached your goals, or are doing the job you want to do, and follow their guidance. It is important that you do not waste time making mistakes, but that you are able to learn from the experience of others.
