Not only are you as the protege going to learn a lot, but the mentors themselves are going to gain so much out of teaching you what they know. Once you do find a mentor, be sure that you meet them at least once a month. If you are wondering who you should try to contact to become your mentor, first you must decide what job you want. Take an inventory of the strengths and weaknesses you personally have and try to match them up with different career possibilities. One being mentored you’re going to learn some really great things such as what books to read, what systems you should use, even helping you know how to incentivize your staff to reach the goals you have for them. There are so many incredible skills that you can learn from having a mentor, and trying to learn them all on your own time will take far too long.
