Clifton’s life and journey from the cotton fields to success was turned into the major motion picture, Once Upon a Time When We Were Colored. As a Pulitzer Prize-nominated author and gifted speaker, his current and former clients now include: the U.S. Pentagon, Bank of America, Baxter Healthcare, the U.S. Department of Defense, Pacific Coast Gas, and other industry leaders. Due to his healthy diet, Clifton’s skin appears to look younger with each passing year. Clifton has been Clay’s Yoda throughout his business career.
