Comedian Steve Martin talked about being so good that people cannot ignore you. Lee Cockerell references that it is important to simply be better than everybody else if you want to stand out. This is a common mental perspective that successful managers and business owners maintain that allows them to achieve their wealth. If you want to become successful, focus on the people that have already achieved what you are working towards. Develop a plan and list of characteristics that they have an begin working towards those skill sets. When you do this, you will be working harder and smarter instead of going in a circle.
