Growing A Business 101: Thriver Of The Month Mentoring Session With Julie Nguyen – Episode 8 – Part 2
Do you have a network of people that are consistently referring your business? Are you building a mastermind for your business? If you were looking to start or grow a business, then the concept of the mastermind is hugely important for your success. In this episode, Business coach Clay Clark (former US Small Business Administration Entrepreneur of the Year) teaches Thriver of the Month Julie Nguyen how to implement the mastermind for your business. The reason why you should build a business mastermind is because when you surround yourself with high net worth people, they will begin to influence you in a positive way which will bring your net worth up too. You must determine who you want a relationship with in your business community. Specifically, who can send you business? In the photography business, Clark breaks down how he reached out to all of the bridal boutique in town and all of the wedding venues and began a systematic relationship building technique with them. When you do this, you will find that people will refer you business consistently because they trust in like you. This is important because they will have a relationship earlier with your potential buyers before you. However, make sure that the people that you’re networking with are of high character and integrity. They must be the greatest of all time (GOATs) for their particular skill or industry. Building a mastermind for your business is the same for building a mastermind for your life. When you build this mastermind, make sure to include people that you would like to build a deeper relationship with. It is more productive to build a deep relationship with a few people rather than a shallow relationship with many people.
