Business Coach Clay Clark talks to Paul about his struggles growing up an an individual. Paul talks deeper about his education, and how it was not readily available to him as it was to other school districts. (In high-poverty areas students on average miss more than ten percent of schooling just by not being able to show up.) At one point in Paul’s life he ended up dropping out of high-school two months from finishing school. Ollie Jackson was dating one of Paul’s sisters and he decided to hold Paul to a higher standard. Ollie and Paul started to communicate back and forth and Ollie Jackson was able to get through to Paul to go back to school and begin his path of success. Clay brings up a quote from George Washington Carver, a famous botanist reaching in alternatives crops to cotton.
