The 4 Jobs In The Career Path For Award-Winning Entrepreneurs – Episode 2 – Part 2
Welcome to the last episode in the exciting series on the four jobs and roles an entrepreneur must have in order to become an entrepreneur or business owner who leaves a tremendous legacy. Lead by America’s number one business coach, Clay Clark, we discuss the mindsets, behaviors, and specific things one must do in order to whip themselves into shape and be an award winning entrepreneur. In the last episodes, we learned that a technician is a person who is in the top ten percent of their industry, and that you can get there by surrounding yourself with people who are already there. From there, you must have a big idea that can motivate you to pursue it relentlessly. After that, you must understand that becoming an award winning entrepreneur is not an over night event, but rather a process that happens over time through the diligent application of effort. In the last episode, Clay discussed the big idea that Howard Schultz, founder of Starbucks had when he began his entrepreneurial journey. Rather than creating “just another coffee shop” Howard Schultz desired to create a gathering place that people enjoyed being in. This lead to him opening over 17,000 stores across the world. In this episode, Clay concludes this series by sharing essential tips, tricks, and action steps you must take in order to become the entrepreneur you dream of becoming. One of the things you must become is the “Relentless Follow Upper.” The relentless follow-upper is a person who follows up as many times as necessary, until the job is done. Clay then reminds us that one of the penalties of leadership is the responsibility to do more than anyone else can or will do. My friend, let this be your year that you moved beyond surviving, and began to Thrive.
